Swipe a four-by-four grid, fuse matching tiles, and climb a twelve-step ladder of celestial bodies. Dwarf to black hole, one merge at a time.
Nova Merge is a free 2048-style merge puzzle for Android, rebuilt around a cosmic discovery ladder. Swipe the four-by-four grid in any direction and every tile slides that way. When two matching tiles collide they fuse into the next one up and score its value. Each tile can only merge once per swipe, so a row of four twos becomes two fours, never a single eight.
What makes it more than a clone is the codex. Every value on the chain is a named celestial body, twelve in all, from Dwarf at 2 through Nova, Supernova and Nebula up to a Black Hole at 4096. The first time you forge each one it unlocks permanently with a short astronomy fact and a one-off coin bonus, so there is a collection to finish underneath the high score.
Swipe the 4x4 grid in any direction to slide every tile. Two tiles of the same value fuse into one of double the value and score those points. The game ends when no move can change the board.
It uses the same slide-and-merge rules as 2048, but each tile value is a named celestial body on a twelve-step codex, from Dwarf at 2 up to Black Hole at 4096, that you unlock as you forge it.
Black Hole at 4096 is the final tier. Tiles can go higher, but the codex ends there, so reaching it completes the collection.
Yes. Nova Merge is free on Android and plays fully offline. A connection is only used to sync the global leaderboard.
